Molly and George :: St Paul New Years Eve wedding!

What a way to ring in the New Year…I mean, as newlyweds! Literal newlyweds! :) And Molly and George threw the party of a lifetime….with amazing food, drinks, timeless decor, sentimental speeches and a crazy dance party! :)

They wanted their wedding to be simple, classy and sleek (George says, “just like Molly”! :) The romance and sentiment of the ceremony was THE MOST important to them….as they pledged their love to one another in front of all of their family and friends as the most intimate moment of their life. With candles galore and dramatic lighting, their ceremony set the stage for the last few hours to cerebrate the 2012 year! :) With Molly in white (her gorgeous Kleinfeld’s sample gown), the bridesmaids in grey, the groomsmen in black and little pops of lavender in the uplighting, it was quite stunning and quite classy! :) The landmark center (being a castle-like structure) was the most perfect place to hold such a romantic and party-like affair…and it made it even better that Rice Park, lit up to the 9′s in all of it’s glory, was just outside the doors! :) I mean, who wouldn’t want to celebrate like this!

My most favorite part of the night was during the reception when George got up and made a few promises to Molly! Promises to his Dad to love her like he did his Mom, promises to his Mom to help her raise a family like she did, promises to her Mom to treasure her and promises to her Dad to protect her, love her and never leave her side. Not a dry eye in the house….I mean, as a new parent, I would be so proud of that gesture! :)

And as the clock struck MIDNIGHT, with hoops, hollars and loud cheers….Molly and George embraced and began their first 2013 moment as HUSBAND and WIFE with a romantic kiss in the middle of the dance floor! It was, as if for a few moments, they were the only two people on the planet! :)

Hello!

My name is Emily and I am an artist; WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER by day and FABRIC ARTIST by night. Here, you can follow my creative journey and perpetually see what I'm up to! I try to infuse joy in everything I do; from sewing to knitting and photography! You’ll generally see a giant smile on my face because I am overjoyed about living the life where the dreams that I once doodled about are coming true! I'm a midwestern girl that loves people, my sewing machine, our two pugs Edward and Gweneth and every flavor of ice cream (you can even bribe me with it at times! :)

I'd love to hear from you, so feel free to contact me at any time! :)
