From the sounds of the mariachi band as they walked out from behind the building on Sunday night I KNEW that this workshop was going to change my business for life! :) The experience that we had at the Hacienda was only the best; from amazing food to amazing people, the Jose Villa workshop was incredible.
We woke every morning to the sounds of the peacocks chirping (if that’s what you call it) in the courtyard right outside our window. We soaked up every word in a classroom that was filled with the aromatics from the tequila barrels stacked 20 high next to our tables…and we learned. Boy, did we learn. And we photographed; for ourselves and for the workshop. I think that any business woman can say that when you attend a workshop like this, it has the power to change your business trajectory! And boy did it ever. I was challenged in areas’s I wasn’t even expecting to be challenged. From business decisions to shooting style, this workshop was beyond my expectations!
Over and over this week I have replayed parts of Mexico in my head in an attempt to soak in as much as I can. I keep glancing through my moleskin knowing that every word I jotted down was for a reason! I relive the moments that I can remember and can only look forward to the changes that will lead to successes in my business. And I have a feeling that I will be re-reading my notes through this next year over and over and over! :)
I don’t take for granted the experience of Mexico and this workshop! :)
High fives, shout outs, butt slaps, hugs and major kudos to the fabulous vendors that made this happen. I can boldly say that ALL of us attendees genuinely love you for your efforts! :)
