Springtime in Kansas City

I love spring; it is BY FAR my favorite season. Take a deep breath and smell that fresh air. Go for a nice long walk. See all the new growth popping up from the soil! :) YAY! Spring time.

This weekend Katie and I drove down to Kansas City and couldn’t stop smiling because their grass was greener, their trees were blooming, tulips were open, flowers were fragrant, buds were popping and spring was oh-so-happening down there! Although it did bring on a few moments of jealousy since we aren’t quite that far along in our spring-happenings up north, we soon realized that not only were we lucky enough to enjoy a few “early” days of spring in KC but it soon will happen up in our north country!

In the mean time I was giddy with the camera about their amazingly-perfect dogwood trees (which I have never seen in Minnesota or Wisconsin) and the beautiful sunny weather we were having! :) :) :)
