Mariel and Carl :: winter engagement! :)

They spent the day together picking out and cutting down their very FIRST real, live Christmas tree….a tradition in and of itself that is sure to bring back amazing memories for these two! :) Carl planned the whole day…they trekked out to Krueggers tree farm in Afton, chose the BEST tree ever, cut it down, drug it to the car, drove home (smiling the whole time), and proceeded to begin the magical Christmas season with their new, fresh Christmas tree! :) But before Mariel knew it, as they were decorating the tree, Carl was on one knee confessing his love to his beautiful girlfriend (soon to be fiancé :) as he asked her to become his wife! :) YAY!!!!! I mean, what girl wouldn’t just DIE for their Christmas season to begin like this?! :) Needless to say, Christmas truly WAS magical for these two! :)

And to top it off….engagement photos…and it ONLY made sense to do them in the winter, back at Krueggers tree farm (and then some on the local skating pond too! :)

I mean, for real….could they BE any cuter?!?!?!? :)
