Meet Ms. Emily Koska (and Mike too! :)

I had the chance to head up to Fargo, North Dakota for a quick day trip to meet and spend the day with the talented Ms. Emily Koska! :) She is a wedding photographer that has HUGE dreams, hopes and aspirations in her area…and her ball is ROLLING and rolling steadily! From day-time nurse to dreaming big for her photography world, Emily has hopes, goals and talents that will crush the market around Fargo (so if you’re looking for a wedding photographer…hint, hint)!

This girl has a SHEER and unhindered passion for weddings! She realized soon after her wedding day had come and gone that it was SUPER necessary to stay connected to the wedding world and combine her love for photography! She worked her tail off, interned, hustled, shot, shot, shot and launched her business. She’s been shooting ever since and craved a fresh perspective for some advice for her business. We spent the day talking, shooting, critiquing, questioning, sharing and laughing together! It sure was WONDERFUL! :) We both walked away with some new ideas, a gained perspective and a new friendship! :) So friends, watch this girl….she’s making thing happen in Fargo! :)

February 18, 2013 : Engagements

Mariel and Carl :: winter engagement! :)

They spent the day together picking out and cutting down their very FIRST real, live Christmas tree….a tradition in and of itself that is sure to bring back amazing memories for these two! :) Carl planned the whole day…they trekked out to Krueggers tree farm in Afton, chose the BEST tree ever, cut it down, drug it to the car, drove home (smiling the whole time), and proceeded to begin the magical Christmas season with their new, fresh Christmas tree! :) But before Mariel knew it, as they were decorating the tree, Carl was on one knee confessing his love to his beautiful girlfriend (soon to be fiancé :) as he asked her to become his wife! :) YAY!!!!! I mean, what girl wouldn’t just DIE for their Christmas season to begin like this?! :) Needless to say, Christmas truly WAS magical for these two! :)

And to top it off….engagement photos…and it ONLY made sense to do them in the winter, back at Krueggers tree farm (and then some on the local skating pond too! :)

I mean, for real….could they BE any cuter?!?!?!? :)

Nikki and Robbie :: Winter engagement! :)

All bundled up and cute in their mittens and scarves…could they BE any cuter?! :) Living in Cali now, they trekked all the way back home for the winter, snowy, COLD engagement session! :) But, totally worth it, don’t ya think?! :)

Their amazing July wedding at the Enchanted Barn is going to be AAAHHH-MAAAZING! :) I can already tell! :)
